Amazon Wish List Guidelines
Teachers, librarians, guidance counselors, school nurses, and coaches who are also full-time teachers are eligible to participate.
Donation Requirements
- Wish Lists must be created using your UUSD Amazon account ONLY.
- Review and share your Wish List with your administrator.
- Technology equipment must be reviewed and authorized by the Director of Technology. This ensures the District can support the item(s). Items delivered to the school must be added to the school’s technology inventory and be barcoded.
- No gift cards can be requested.
- Items requested must be shipped to the school.
- Requests for food or beverage purchases must follow the District's Board-approved Wellness Policy.
- Water wipes and baby wipes are preferred as disinfectant wipes are not recommended. If disinfectant wipes are requested, they must be contained in a locked cabinet and cannot be used by students per the District’s IPM guidelines and the Healthy Schools Act. The site must also maintain the current Safety Data Sheet for that product.
- All items received from your Amazon Wish List will be owned by Ukiah Unified School District and are not the personal property of the employee. The items must remain with the campus/program.
- Any single item over $500 must be added to the school’s inventory and be barcoded.
- Instructions for barcoding Amazon items are included at the end of this document.
Process for Barcoding Amazon Wish List Items
- The teacher must sign and date the delivery slip as received and send it to Accounts Payable in Fiscal Services for barcoding. The items themselves can remain at the campus during this process.
- Fiscal will send the barcode(s) to the site secretary for application or the Technology Department will come to the campus and apply the barcode(s) to the item(s)
- For technology like tablets and laptops, setup must wait until the barcodes have been properly applied.
