The Communications Office connects families, staff, and the broader community with timely, accurate, and inspiring information about our schools. We aim to build trust, celebrate success, and keep everyone informed and engaged.

How We Communicate:

Aeries Parent Portal (online system for parents/guardians to view student information and includes attendance, assessment results, and report card information).
ParentSquare allows us to email, send automated voicemail, and text messages for general information and emergency notices.

Social Media Commenting Guidelines

All of our social media pages focus on celebrating and supporting our schools, students, and teachers, as well as sharing important news and communicating event information. We encourage you to share your support, connect with other supporters, and frequently visit for news and updates.

While everyone is welcome and encouraged to comment, our first priority is to protect students, staff, and community members. Comments and/or posts that do not follow this Comment Policy may be removed.

We have a zero-tolerance policy for cyber bullying and/or posts or comments that are political, racist, sexist, abusive, profane, violent, obscene, spam, contain falsehoods or are wildly off-topic, or that libel, incite, threaten, or make ad hominem attacks on students, employees, guests or other individuals. We also do not permit messages selling products or promoting commercial or other ventures. Participants do so at their own risk, taking personal responsibility for their comments, username and any information provided. We reserve the right to delete comments or topics and even ban users if needed. Please be aware that all content and posts are bound by Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, and Youtube Terms of Use.

We encourage user interaction on our social pages but are not responsible for comments or wall postings made by visitors to the page. Additionally, the appearance of external links, as posted by fans of our page or other users, does not constitute endorsement. Please do not click on links advertising athletic live streaming, clothing sales, or other related services. In most, if not all cases, external links will be removed.

You should not provide private or personal information (phone, email, addresses, etc.) regarding yourself or others on this page. Any posts or comments containing personal information of this nature will be deleted.

Logo Permissible Use Request

The logos and colors of Ukiah Unified School District Schools & Activities represent a brand of excellence. Any use of our logos and brand must submitted and approved. If the use is on a continued basis this form must be submitted annually. We are committed to partnering with our community and frequently grant use of our logos to partners, provided the use of our complies with our brand and style guidelines (shared with approval).

To request use of official Ukiah Unified School District Schools & Activities logos, contact the Communications Officer with at least two weeks of advance notice.

Ukiah Unified School District owns all rights, title, interests, and goodwill depicted in our Brand Guide and Brand Standards & Style Guide, and other designs, seals, and symbols, which have come to be associated Ukiah Unified Schools. Commercial use or reproduction of any logos of Ukiah Unified School District is prohibited without the approval of Ukiah Unified School District. Ukiah Unified School District retains all rights to its logos.
