Sonoma State University is recruiting its Fall 2027 cohort for the Hybrid Ukiah Rural Teacher Residency Program, which provides a local pathway to earning a Multiple Subject Elementary Teaching Credential.
Participants can complete the credential program in as little as one year after completing required prerequisites. Courses are offered online and on Saturdays at Mendocino College, while participants complete full-time student teaching in Ukiah-area schools. The program is available with or without a Bilingual Authorization in Spanish, and $34,000 in funding is available to participants.

- September 21: Ukiah Unified District Office Board Room
- October 22: Frank Zeek Elementary School
- November 2: Grace Hudson Elementary School
Priority applications for Fall 2027 are due February 28, 2027. Additional applications may be submitted March 1 – 30, 2027.
