Could You Be Our Next School Board Trustee?

Ukiah Unified School District is looking for a community member who cares about our schools and wants to help shape their future.

The Trustee Area 6 seat on the UUSD Board of Trustees is currently vacant, and the Board intends to appoint a qualified resident to serve. If you live in Trustee Area 6 and have considered getting more involved in your schools or community, we encourage you to apply.

School Board Trustees help set direction for the District, provide oversight, and represent the interests and perspectives of the communities they serve. You don’t need to be an educator to serve. You do need a commitment to students, a willingness to learn and listen, and an interest in serving your community.

Who can apply?
Applicants must be at least 18 years old, a California citizen, a registered voter residing within Trustee Area 6, and otherwise eligible to hold civil office.

Do I live in Trustee Area 6?
Trustee Area 6 includes portions of south and southeast Ukiah, generally from East Gobbi Street south through neighborhoods near South Dora Street, South State Street, Washington Avenue and Beacon Lane, extending toward Robinson Creek and the Russian River.
