Ukiah Unified staff are invited to learn more about the Ukiah Rural Teacher Residency Program, a partnership with Sonoma State University that helps you earn your Multiple Subject Elementary Teaching Credential in just one year while completing your student teaching in Ukiah schools.
If you already hold a bachelor’s degree, this is your opportunity to transition into teaching through a hybrid online and local program with Saturday courses at Mendocino College – and $34,000 in funding available for participants.
Join us at one of the upcoming information sessions at 6 p.m.:
-
Monday, October 27 – Grace Hudson Elementary
-
Wednesday, November 5 – Ukiah Unified District Office Board Room
-
Monday, November 17 – Frank Zeek Elementary
The program begins Fall 2026.
Priority applications are due February 28, 2026.
