Ukiah High Homecoming Parade Floats Through Town Friday!

Homecoming week is here, and the excitement is building across Ukiah! Each class has been working for weeks in secret “float warehouses” to prepare for Friday’s Homecoming Parade – one of Ukiah’s favorite fall traditions.

The parade will begin at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, October 17, traveling from the Ukiah High School campus through downtown Ukiah. Spectators are encouraged to line the route early to cheer for their favorite class floats!

Later that night, the Homecoming Football Game kicks off at 7:00 p.m. at Wildcats Stadium, featuring halftime Homecoming Royalty and the announcement of the Spirit Bell winner!

Daily spirit events continue all week, from Monday’s Class Color Day to Friday’s Class Skit Rally, with lip syncs, murals, and decorations showing off Wildcats pride. The week wraps up Saturday night with the Homecoming Dance from 7–10 p.m. in the cafeteria.

Follow the action! Lip Sync and Skit rallies will be posted on the Ukiah Unified YouTube Channel shortly after they happen, and you can catch photo highlights all week on the district’s social media pages.

Let’s show our purple and gold pride – Go Wildcats!
